In the rapidly developing global health issue caused by the spread of Novel Coronavirus we can assure our customers that we are fully able to continue to operate business as usual.
All our staff have the ability to work remotely should self isolation be required and we can operate rota systems for attending the business premises for receipt and despatch of goods. We operate flexible telephone and IT systems that allow access wherever there is an internet connection, and will continue to answer the phones, emails and webchat as before.
Lead times and deliveries have had minimal delays so far but we are anticipating increasing delays for goods coming from Italy. Some factories are starting to notify of week long closures and we will continue to monitor this closely. Our experience is that materials from the Far East are not significantly affected so far. We already have alternative courier agreements in place to provide a degree of resilience for imported goods.
Update 3/6/20
We are still fully open and operating normally and international shipments are now pretty much without delay. All our suppliers are back in full production and we anticipate no appreciable delays to orders at the current time. We are still available to talk to over the phone or webchat and look forward to hearing from you again soon.
